I'm a slob and will piss away about two times as much as a new label cassette this evening over adult beverages and snacks this evening. If anyone knows of a way to put an end to this silly glitch I would look forward to hearing from you.
BUT.26' of 3/4" label costs about $ 18 at the store down the road. RE: P touch label machinesGreat little label printer, GTD David Allen recommendation.
Kinda like Heroin and just about any "free" printer deal - They make lots more on ink or in this case label cassettes, than on the machine. IF you make labels one at a time, my average label is 2" - there is a "warm up / head alignment" something that adds 7/8" of pure waste to actual 2" label in my case.
When I do the math it can get a bit expensive. I'm not generally frugal, this is more of a source of irritation and it is messy all these little micro mini mutant blank label pieces all over my already messy desk.
It's not really about money, rather shoddy design and execution that is most irksome.-e
easy to use and the labels are common enough to find in store on island. The price was just right.
this is a great little printer. i have not tried too many things on it, i am not too technically advanced, but my neighbor figured it out immediately. one thing i did to avoid wasting tape between items is just to string along each title with only a space or two between them and then use scissors to cut them apart afterward. my shoe boxes have never looked so good.
After two weeks it's fast, reliable and I like the set of printing options. It shuts down too quickly during idle time even while plugged in and I haven't yet figured out how to change that.
Great product. New to me though as I've never used a label machine before. Has a lot of interesting features that I'm becoming familiar with. Once I master everything though, I'm confident that I will truly enjoy this machine and the convenience it offers.
